says:Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for the effort your team has put into recognizing outstanding contributions to the global scientific community through the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List. It is truly a great honor for those who are included, and the list serves as an important source of motivation and inspiration for researchers around the world.
I am writing to inquire about the reasons why my name, Haitham M. Yousof, was not included in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 lists. As a dedicated researcher with significant contributions to my field, I was surprised to learn of my omission. I would greatly appreciate any feedback or clarification as to why this may have occurred.
I have published several papers in reputable journals (166 paper in Scopus journal with h-index=34 in Scopus and Citations=3,484 in Scopus), some of which have been cited extensively, and I have contributed meaningfully to various aspects of my discipline. I am genuinely interested in understanding if there are any specific criteria or metrics where my profile did not meet the required standards, and if there are ways in which I can improve to be considered in the future.
Once again, I sincerely appreciate your time, efforts and great attention to this matter.
I look forward to your response and any insights you may provide.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the scientific community.
All the best,
Haitham M. Yousof

Since the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List started 2020, my name was included in this important list.
It is truly a great honor for those who are included, and the list serves as a source of good motivation and inspiration for researchers around the world.
I am writing to inquire about the reasons why my name is not included this time in the 2024 list. As a dedicated researcher with significant contributions to my field, I was surprised to learn of my omission.I would greatly appreciate any feedback or clarification as others in my institution are included this year despite they have no publication since 2014 till 2023 for example. I greatly appreciate any feedback about my case.
Thank you for your continuous support of the scientific community.
With my best regards

says:Being on the list or not does not represent your research quality. In the last few years, many authors just publish trash papers, huge numbers, open access, and get a lot of citations! Check Google scholar and see how some authors even in their PhD study publish 50-100 papers!!!!! is this even ethical?
and many “researchers” within a year got 200 papers!
So this index became meaningless!
